Using the DGAs

The Discovering Goodness®️ Activations (DGAs) are the knowledge pills at the heart of the Discovering Goodness®️ Corporate Empowerment Program that train our minds to think the right thoughts that create the right actions that result in Positive Emotions for Peak Performance and Authentic Happiness across one's work and home environment for a lifetime.

Commit to internalising such positive knowledge

As a Discovering Goodness®️ participant, your team will have access to over 100 DGAs, from which they can create their own bespoke Personal Activations Library.

When they commit to internalising the most relevant Discovering Goodness®️ Activations (DGAs) daily, they begin to train their minds to intrinsically serve themselves by aligning with their Inner Peace. Imagine the goodness that brings your organisation when your employees engage their DGAs. 

By deploying the Discovering Goodness®️ Corporate Empowerment Program and these DGAs as selected as most relevant by them for their role and personal experiences, you're showing them how, and indeed giving them permission, to come to work each and every day, with a commitment to being the best version of themselves they can be with every breath they take.

When using the DGAs daily, they can decide to refine their thoughts, actions, and outcomes intrinsically, and in ways that can help them over time reach Peak Performance and Authentic Happiness, resulting in better business outcomes for the organisation.

Lead the way by selecting your own DGAs

The DGAs are mapped by Job Function, Business Athlete Attributes and the 27 Positive Emotion categories  Each DGA provides the following knowledge:

 

  • Life Situational experiences

  • Articulation of the challenges and opportunities

  • Recommended mindset Activations

  • Thought-provoking questions

This in turn provides the mind with recommended "Thoughts and Actions" designed to cultivate the appropriate mindset to:

  • drive the right thoughts

  • deliver the right outcomes

  • all through the consistent expression of positive emotions.​

When the thoughts and actions within each DGA are embraced, and you fill your mind with these, you'll experience a mindset that "Activates" processes to the positive, selects the right actions, outcome and consequently Positive Emotions.

So start each and every day by deciding on the DGA that you want to internalise, that you have a sense you need the knowledge for at that time, and listen to it on waking or when you first get into the office/start work or as you drift off to sleep the night before.

Taking action through awareness

That’s 14 minutes or so in total as you gently align your current thoughts to the content in the DGA. At the end of that beautiful awareness simply pick “One Key Action” that you will take either:
 

  • into your awareness for the day

  • along with your PEM Walks (see below)

  • into your exercise routine

  • as you enter the meeting/moment of challenge you are about to embark, or

  • as you drift to sleep.

Simply maintain your awareness on the right thoughts and the right actions throughout your day and the result will be your true intent to deliver at natural Peak Performance through Authentic Happiness.

Listening to your DGAs

Let the DGA play for the duration (usually around 2 minutes). Just sit down quietly, close your eyes, gently embrace the words, and surrender to the knowledge.

The DGA will then stop, and then for the next 5 minutes keep your eyes closed as you gently become mindful of whatever resonated with you that was positive. Repeat the DGA for a second time and just peacefully listen. The DGA will then stop, and again for the next 5 minutes keep your eyes closed or half open, and be mindful of whatever you resonated with that was positive.

You're effectively internalising the DGA:

  • in preparation for your day ahead

  • as it relates to your own professional or personal experiences

  • to create a relevant Positive Emotion

  • throughout your day, and

  • in preparation for sleep.

PEM Walking when you feel negativity return

As negative emotions resurface throughout your day, take a 10-minute PEM Walk. During this time, repeat the "One Key Action" you incorporated into your day from your Discovering Goodness®️ Activation (DGA). Consider this your mantra for the day, allowing you to reset and refocus.

The PEM (Positive Energy Manifestation) Walking Exercise is a relatively straightforward technique where you walk for 10 minutes every 4 hours while awake, and breathe as if you are running.

 

During your entire 10-minute PEM walk, take a deep breath for 4 seconds and exhale completely for another 4 seconds. That equates to 75 deep breaths, and because you're not actually running yet breathing like you are, you'll ingest the most important essence of positive life into every cell of your body—oxygen.

Every cell in our body comprises energy and intellect, and your PEM Walking has you ingesting positive oxygen (Positive Energy) and positive knowledge (Positive Intellect) into every cell of your body. Now, you'll be feeling energised, optimised, and refreshed to focus on your tasks every moment of your day, to create goodness, and to share goodness.
